“Eccentricities make geniuses.” — Penna

Many times in our lives we are faced with obstacles that seem insurmountable. And, many times we feel that we face these obstacles alone. Sometimes we look at other people and wish our lives were trouble-free like theirs; not realizing that they are facing the same troubles that we do.

Why do we all “go through” the same things? And, why particularly at the same times?

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult. – E. B. White (1899 – 1985)

Lets not wait until January to start bringing about change. Lets all take this opportunity of today to make small changes within ourselves. We can change the world by first changing ourselves. We have to work on the Inner Princess inside of each of…

There is nothing wrong with having ideas in your head about where you want to be. Especially today, when it’s hard to know where you will end up.  It’s

“So many gods, So many creeds, So many paths that wind and wind, While just the art of being kind, is all this sad world needs.” –Ella Wheeler Wilcox

The hardest thing for most people to do is to let go of their pride and offer a smile. To put down arms and offer a helping hand. To drop their ego and admit when they are wrong. To share random acts of kindness.

It should

There are times when we feel frozen and stuck, not comprehending what to do. We don’t know which directions to head in because we are bewildered, uncertain and afraid; and especially indeterminate of the outcome.

How do we figure out what to do? Where do we find the clues? Who can we ask for help? When do we start searching?

Situations where a bond needs to be reconnected can be especially confusing, making it harder

“Men are confused. They’re conflicted. They want a woman who’s their intellectual equal, but they’re afraid of women like that. They want a woman they can dominate, but then they hate her for being weak. It’s an ambivalence that goes back to a man’s relationship with his mother. Source of his life, center of his universe, object of both his fear and his love.” –Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider

In a relationship, it is so

In many ways we feel that it is best to learn from others what we think we should know. That’s because we feel that others already know far more than we do.

What I’ve learned to be true is that life will teach you all the lessons that are designed for you. Each individual has their own personal journey;  therefore, their personal lessons are designed specifically for them- and not your lessons to learn.
