It is so easy to be negative.  After all, the world is so full of negativity.  We are surrounded by negativity in school, in the work place, in the media, and in every place we find ourselves going.  We really love negativity, don’t we?  Because, if we didn’t, then why is the majority of our everyday lives engulfed in negative default thinking?  Why do we participate in negative discussions?  Why do we gossip?  Why do we pass…

“You cannot solve a problem from the same level of consciousness that created the problem.” — Einstein

Healing, reconciliation, and forgiveness are spiritual qualities very much needed today.  We have to go through a process, first to heal, next to re-conciliate, and then to forgive in order to move to a higher level of consciousness.  We must move past our verbal, physical and emotional wounds.  We must re-conciliate our differences with one another; not just personally, but globally as…

Self-esteem isn’t all the time what we think it is.  Self-esteem is mostly about being a good person.  This also coincides with the concept “All Is One.”  If we are all one, then as we treat another with respect, we are also respecting ourselves- therefore raising ourselves to Heightened Self-Esteem.

Today, know that self-esteem isn’t always about how we feel about ourselves.  But also about how we treat others.  Today, heighten your self-esteem.

“This is all there is right now.” — Ram Dass

Right now is all that we have.  This very moment.  Yesterday has long since gone.  And, tomorrow is patiently awaiting its arrival.   Today, right NOW, is all there is.

It is so easy to become caught up in the merry-go-round cycle of thoughts of yesterday, and the anxious hopes of tomorrow.  But, if we just slow down, focus, and remember to stay present, we will be able to recognize just…

It is fear that causes our reactive natures.  It is fear that causes us to build walls instead of tearing them down.  It is fear that causes an argument instead of giving energy to positive discussion.  It is fear that causes us to feel trapped in instead of experiencing the true freedom that we truly have.  It is fear that causes our self-isolation instead of exploring our sharing-nature with others.

Today, dig deep to recognize the different types…

A smile can bring light to a dull day.  A smile can bring about healing and cure sickness.  A smile can bring about peace in chaotic moments.  A smile can bring about hope in desperate situations.  A smile can make that special admired one fall in love with you.

The power of a smile today can right all of your wrongs.  Today, smile!

Ever since celebrating my Birthday, about 7 months ago, my writing had become fickle.  All of a sudden, I wasn’t writing everyday, like I was so dedicated to in the past.  All of my attention seemed to had moved to other areas of my life.  Since then, I’ve become a full-time college student, which only leaves a few hours a week in my life free from homework, researching, paper-writing, studying and exams.  I’m still trying to juggle…

Many of us are stuck in the same ole attitudes of it being too late to change our lives. Many of us feel that it’s too late to become better people or to do what we intended to do with our lives. We may feel that it’s too late to say, “I’m sorry”, or even go back to school. We oftentimes feel that it is too late to start over.

Starting over with our lives is always the…

When you are full of appreciation in your life, how can there ever be room for negativity?  When you always remember to focus on what you are truly grateful for, how can you ever experience depression?  When you are truly engrossed in all that is wonderful about your life, how can you ever experience conflict?  When you are overwhelmed with how magnificent living is, how can you ever experience doubts?

I keep a daily journal of at least…

I was talking with my hydro-therapist today about relationships. She said to me that most people enter commitments with the idea of, “Ok, what can I get out of this? What’s truly in it for me? How do I benefit from this?”

She couldn’t be more correct.

We oftentimes unknowingly sabotage our relationships because we don’t have the right intentions. We want to believe that the other person “owes” us happiness, rewards and pleasures. Why is it hard for…
