What is a Princess?

“You are a Princess. Prestigious and Profound by defining yourself as an individual set apart. You’ve developed self-esteem and are able to hold yourself with great confidence and self-assurance. You are Elegant and Exquisite; a presence which brightens your every walk of life. You are someone that has mastered the art of forgiveness and is able to create magic for yourself and for those around you. You are a Princess.”   —Penna

About Inner Princess

Inner Princess is about discovering ourselves, taking risks, having and learning new ideas, and sharing with others. It’s about exploring the possibility that there is a deeper us, a deeper more brilliant part of us that is yet to be unraveled. It’s about taking pride in who we truly are and all the accomplishments we have made. It’s about trying to understand why we find it difficult to trust, or to forgive, or to even love. It’s about exploring ourselves enough, and to dig deep enough to find out the reasons behind our thoughts and behaviors.

Why it is so difficult to give or receive compliments? Why do we gossip? Why do we find it easier to just ignore someone than to offer helpful guidance? And, why do we become judge and jury before showing mercy?

Inner Princess is a journey of self-discovery and finding our own answers to these questions. Discovering ourselves is about creating our own identities. Who we are now, and who we are to become have absolutely nothing to do

with our biological or ethnic group, educational background or social status. But has everything to do with our personal choices, self-image and how we treat others. Inner Princess is about growing as an individual.

If some of the topics discussed here seem a bit heavy at times, remember that there is value in talking about things which may be painful or embarrassing. There is comfort in knowing that many of us often times face the same issues, and we are all here to help each other. It is never a bad thing to engage in a little deep introspection. It’s always better to take some time to talk about the things that are going on inside.
