Attitude of Gratitude

19 August 2009 No Comments

When you are full of appreciation in your life, how can there ever be room for negativity?  When you always remember to focus on what you are truly grateful for, how can you ever experience depression?  When you are truly engrossed in all that is wonderful about your life, how can you ever experience conflict?  When you are overwhelmed with how magnificent living is, how can you ever experience doubts?

I keep a daily journal of at least 100 things I’m grateful for.  Every single day.  I start every sentence with, “Today, I am grateful for …” When I do this, every second of my life I am constantly reminded of why I should not falter to negativity and default thinking.   In doing this, I’m assuring that great things will always come to me.

Every morning when I awaken, the very first thing I do is say out loud, “thank you,” to myself and the Universe.  By thanking myself and the Universe, I’m expressing an enormous amount of gratitude, therefore welcoming more things, people and situations into my life to be grateful for.

Today, find your attitude of gratitude.  I’m sure there are a gazillion things, people, places and situations in your life today to truly be grateful for!
