We Only Limit Ourselves

11 June 2009 No Comments

“Is that really possible?!” We oftentimes ask this question of ourselves and others. We live in a world full of unlimited potential and possibilities. There is nothing that is impossible to do, be, or achieve. There is no boundary that cannot be crossed. There is no limit to success. It is immeasurable.

But, we only limit ourselves if we fail to understand that there is no value in competition. Because of the universal principal that “All Is One”, when we compete against others, we are only competing against ourselves. Therefore, limiting ourselves.

Today, throw your track shoes in the closet and stop running after fear, anxiety, doubt and depression. Instead, write down your desires. Write down all the many positive and wonderful attributes that you posses. Write down your goals and ambitions and ways that you can help someone else, instead of competing against them. Know that when you compete, you only limit yourself. Besides, wouldn’t it be better if we all helped each other?
