Vow to Yourself

2 June 2009 No Comments

The hardest promise to keep is the promise to oneself. It’s because we don’t really put value in our own relationship with ourselves, nor in our own opinions. We like to be followers, because following someone else or a group seems more acceptable, and [following someone] is the least responsibility. When we accept others as more acceptable than ourselves, we’ve really lost ourselves in the mix of our thinking. The real value of YOU exists within you.

Today, vow to yourself that you are totally worth it! You are special and you are one in a million (or in 6 billion, I might add)! Vow to yourself that you will do whatever it takes to be your own best friend- by believing and trusting in yourself to be the best that you already are. All you have to do is take that vow.
