Justice is Always Served

15 June 2009 No Comments

“It is fear that makes us want to take revenge on others, instead of allowing the Universe to do the work for us. We fear that the person will not feel the pain and humiliation that we felt during the injury. But, rest assured, justice is always served.” — Penna

We have to forgive the humiliation in order to see things, people and situations clearly. There are several reasons why we find it difficult to choose love over hate, but the ultimate reason is fear. We fear that if we forgive someone and show them mercy and kindness we will appear weak to them. Fear is paralyzing and ego-based.

Today, remember that justice is always served through the law of karma. We live in a world of cause and effect, and whatever harm someone may have caused you, there is a boomerang effect to their behavior; and vice-versa. Today, bring yourself to a place where you can secretly and humbly recite the words, “I forgive you.” Forgiving yourself and others for damaged caused is instilling good karma.
