Boomerang Effect

6 June 2009 No Comments

There is a boomerang effect to every thought we transmit, every word we speak, and every deed we perform. It’s known as the law of karma. When we react in even small ways, like cutting someone off in a bank line, or responding to someone in a sarcastic tone, or even being rude by snapping at someone or “rolling” our eyes, there is a boomerang effect to that. There is a karmic backlash. Even our thoughtless and minuscule words and behaviors build karma. With that in mind, what do you jeopardize?

But, when we perform tiny and unexpected acts of kindness, lend someone a hand across the street, pick trash from a sidewalk, say hello to someone or even offer a smile, we are building good karma. There is also a boomerang effect of good karma, as well.

There are two wolves within each of us, and the boomerang will continuously hit you in the area of whichever one you feed.

Be kind to everyone you pass along the way today. In doing so, you are assured the boomerang effect of good karma.
