We’ve often heard that making assumptions make and ass out of you and me, right? This is true in most cases. But, the world is built on assumptions. The reason is because the world is full of judgments. Assumptions are a part of judgments.
When we first meet someone and size them up, we begin to make assumptions about them. This is part of the natural human response to first meeting someone, and particularly why we should learn detachment.
Today, close your assumptions r us store and try opening a store of compassion. When compassion comes before the judgment, you will then be able to see the real truth rather than what your deceptive thoughts have perceived to be true.
