Say “Farewell”

13 May 2009 No Comments

“One who limits himself to his chosen mode of ignorance.” — Elbert Hubbard

As nice as we would like to be to people, sometimes it’s best to just walk away from them.  If a person is not on your level, but you want to bring them up, and they are committed to staying right where they are, then you may just have to say “farewell” to them.

People don’t really want to change.  If they did, then all of the advice and help that you freely give to them would not fall on deaf, dumb and mute ears.  If people really wanted to change, then they would proactively put more positive energy into their everyday dealings with life.

There is no coercion in spirituality, nor in self-help.  People have to have that yearning, burning, deep down desire to want to change on their very own.

Today, say “farewell” to those individuals who choose to stay low and falling.  You have to trust and love them enough to let them create their own lives.  Your only job is YOU; your job is not someone else’ life. In the meantime, you must remain high and rising.
