Let Go

8 May 2009 No Comments

“Moving on, sometimes, is the hardest thing to do, but most of the time, the most rewarding.” — Penna

In life we will usually stick with the people that are currently in our everyday lives, without ever considering trying someone new. That is because we may feel that they are the best thing for us, that they have the best intentions, and that they have our best interest at heart. So, we may cling (hold on for dear life) to them; heck, that’s all we know!

But, if we let go- even for just a tiny second- we will realize that maybe those people were not the best people in the world for us. If we just loosen our grip- even for a smidgen of a moment- we will figure out that maybe those people were not as sincere as we thought.

Bravo! We’ve finally grown up. And, now- since we’ve grown up- it’s time to let go of them.

Today, let go. Let go of that strong-hold, that tight grip you have on those people that mean you no good. Look into their eyes to see if their friendship with you is out of true sincerity or out of their own self-interest.
