What have you learned today? What can you apply to your life today? What wisdom do you have to share with the next student today?

It’s never about the teacher, but it’s always about the teachings. The best teacher for you lies within you. You are the actual architect, designer, creative director of your life. You are the decision maker of your life. You are your very own teacher.

But, what is your teacher’s role in your life?

A teacher is there to help guide you, explain things to you, help make sure you are taking the right steps in the direction of the journey you had planned for yourself. A teacher is there for support. This is why it’s not about the teacher. It is always about the teachings.

We, in life, will learn a great deal of knowledge- if we have a strong desire, and if we apply ourselves. In truth, it is up to us- as individuals- to take the initiative to learn; it is not our teacher’s job to coerce us. We should only take what resonates with us, and leave the rest behind. But, the teachings is all that matters. You see, we are not born whole (as you know), and we tend to use this factor as excuses to not become whole ourselves. We will say, “because my teacher has flaws. it’s okay that I have flaws too!”

It is always about you striving to learn more in life; to become more in life. Life is the most beautiful and amazing journey. Not that life deals us a great hand, all of the time. It’s that life is beautiful because it is a process that must be learned and conquered. Life is a game. If we are strong individuals, then we will survive. Only the strongest shall survive. And, in order to be strong, we must be in control of our own lives, and, not in control of the lives of others! It’s called “controlling the game.” We only have one job, and that job is to control our own existence.

When you try to control others, you hand the control of your life to that other person you are trying to control. We are responsible for each other. But, we are not in control of each other. We are only in control of ourselves. Each individual has his/her own path in life. It’s about the teachings only. This is a complex world.

Become stronger today by surviving. Master your consciousness. Master your thoughts and behaviors. Master the teachings of the greatest sages.
