Enmity and Bitterness

11 May 2009 No Comments

“Hell is only a mind-set, and most people imprison themselves in hell just through their own thinking.  Any negative thought you have, you are turning the lock tighter on your very own prison cage door.  You are your very own prisoner.  You are your very own prison guard.” – Penna

What type of life do you want to live?   Would you rather be imprisoned in hell, stuck between the walls of a world with nothing but grim dim days?  Or, would you rather have freedom to enjoy a wonderful magical place of a world with nothing but pure bliss?  Choose your fate.

You are the master of your domain. Well, that’s only if you are strong enough to take responsibility for your life. When you are full of negativity, blame, doubt, victim consciousness, cruelty- you are not in control of your life (i.e. not the master of your domain). Therefore, your fate will be enmity and bitterness.

Ouch! Sounds harsh, but true. How can you live a fully happy and truly fulfilling life when you are not even in the driver’s seat of your own life?  Most of us choose negativity as a daily practice, don’t we?  If we didn’t choose negativity in our lives, then why is the world like it is today?

Think about it.

Today, choose your fate.  Do you choose to continue to stay imprisoned within the walls of your own negative existence, or do you choose freedom through positive proactive being?

What will it be today?
