Chance to Change

16 May 2009 No Comments

“Life is like a hand of cards. You have to play the hand you’re dealt, you can’t win by folding, and sometimes you must take chances in order to win.” — Mike Conner

No one who has ever really lived life has said that life is easy. Life is not. Sometimes, what we fail to realize is, life was not designed to be easy. We all came here to make corrections; we came here to spiritually mature, to grow, to elevate our consciousness. And, for most of us, we’ve felt that life has dealt us bad hands.

When we are defeated by life, we are not the heroes, but the victims. And, if we are in victim mode, we always have a chance to change that particular mentality about ourselves. Most of the time, I think, we are in a race to be the perpetrators rather than the victims. What do you think? Life is nothing but a competition to be the criminal rather than the victim.

If we are unhappy with certain people, we should open our hearts to forgiveness, and give them a chance to change. If we are disappointed in ourselves, we should peek through the window of no regrets, and allow ourselves a chance to change.

Today, encourage the circumstances in your life to change, even if they are already good. Reinvention is constant change. Make it a daily practice to constantly reinvent yourself. Today, give yourself a chance to change from victim to Hero; or a chance to change from great to Spectacular!
