Aware and Conscious

“To become different from what we are, we must have some awareness of what we are.” — Eric Hoffer

We are not awake, aware, conscious.  Are we?  We are only sleepwalking; and, we deaden ourselves by sleepwalking through our days.

What does it profit us to kill time just to get by while we wait for the weekend or the next summer vacation and consequently overlook the miracle of the present moment?  Life is a miracle to be celebrated, not something to be escaped from or avoided.  Life is always here, and of course, we are usually elsewhere and not fully present.  But, as in some prize drawings, you must be present to win.

Today, live gracefully, live impeccably without regrets, without leaving behind any unfinished mess.  Live every day to it’s fullest, and to your absolute best and fullest.  Live your day, today, alive and awake and fully aware and conscious of what you are.
