The Victim or The Hero?

10 April 2009 No Comments

“If we are not in control of our lives, we are living as an effect rather than being the cause. Just merely existing instead of creating. Never fully understanding about the things that happen in our lives, or even learning from them. We are then always the “victims”, and never the heroes.” — Penna

What is the difference between a victim and a hero? A victim lives in a constant state of fear. Whereas, a hero lives in a constant state of proactivity.

Let me explain: the “victim” is a person that is always sitting around just “letting things happen”, allowing others to have control over their lives, finding blame and living as an effect- rather than the cause. While, on the other hand, the “hero” is a person that lives in a constant state of bravery, knows how to take personal responsibility, forgives and is in complete control of her life by being the cause- rather than simply living as an effect.

Which one are you … The Victim or The Hero?

You choose.:)

Today, put on your Wonder Woman costume, because it’s Miss Independent Day. You are now independent and free from the control of your victim consciousness. You are now The Hero of your life!
