We scratch only the surface of our actual capabilities, talents, abilities, gifts and attributes. We never fully understand just how in-depth we can become.

Listen to this, I recently read in an article lately that there was a survey that was done, asking people what they would rather talk about on a date. The choices were:

A. Occupation,
B. Pop-Culture,
C. Literature

I’m sure you already know the most popular choice. Yes, choice B!

I could not believe this! The shame is that this is really only how far our shallow minds are willing to go. This is only how far we are willing to explore ourselves. This is only how far we are willing to dig deep beyond the surface, and become greater and more accomplished people. Everyone I’ve talked to lately say that they’d rather watch television than read a book. This is alarming!

Today, pick up a book and expand your consciousness, expand your mind. Grow and become a Princess with depth. Leave shallowness at the door.
