Never Waste a Crisis

30 April 2009 No Comments

Never waste a crisis.  Crisis situations come along to show us who our true friends really are.  When things are “smooth-sailing”, it’s so easy for others to call themselves your “friend” -because it’s convenient for them, and don’t cost them anything.  But, when things are “rocky”, you will notice that they are all of a sudden out the door.  And, those people that you never really took seriously are the ones who actually stick by you, and help pull you through.

If someone comes to you, as their friend, for help- you should be more than willing to lend it.  I’ve never understood this “loyalty” thing.  Where is loyalty these days?  I’m sure that that same friend would help pull you through.

Today, never waste a crisis.  It is through crisis that we learn about ourselves and others.  Furthermore, if someone comes to for help, and you turn them down- then what do you think will happen to you?  What goes around comes around.
