Choose Your Fate

“You are the first recipient of your fate.” –Penna

What do I mean by “choose your fate”? I mean, to always have control over your life. When you are judgmental, jealous, full of blame-animosity, cruelty, hatred, anger, self-doubt, skepticism and impatience, you are the first recipient of your fate.

What do I mean by that? Well, you’ve heard the saying, “what goes around comes around.” right? What people actually don’t know is that the negative deeds that they perform hit them first. Meaning, they are the first to receive the blow. You are the first recipient of your fate!

Whatever you choose in life to do to yourself and to others only reflects back on you (i.e. mirror image). Choosing your fate means choosing what your karmic debt will be. There is a such thing as good karma, did you know? When you perform random acts of kindness, the Universe repays you with equal or greater kindness.

Today, choose your fate. Choose between yetzer hara (in Hebrew: evil inclination), or yetzer tov (in Hebrew: good inclination). I’m sure you know what to do!
