Deep Issues

29 April 2009 One Comment

Funny. People who email me always ask me the same questions. They assume that because I write articles everyday about deep issues, such as self-esteem, love, sharing, loneliness, depression, happiness, sadness, and every other issue, that I must be out of shape, broke, lonely …. etc.

Actually, just the opposite. I am a model, young, gorgeous, a size 00- and then some. I’m writing about these real issues because:

1. They are true, and these issues really exist.
2. I want to show everyone how shallow we are most of the time.

Which is particularly why I wrote the article I did yesterday. This example shows us how shallow we think, feel and react to the world, and to what our pre-conceived notions are.

So, you see, I am actually a gorgeous model that actually read, study, research and write! (sarcasm :-)

Today, step out of the superficial journey into the journey of depth. In the end, would you rather be known for wearing a really hot dress, or for writing a beautiful and meaningful novel?

Think about it.

This just comes to show that although you have both, the true beauty and talent is what a person has on the inside. We must bring the best out of ourselves from the inside out.
