Why Me?

28 March 2009 No Comments

Why me? Why does everything seem to happen to me in my life? Why don’t these things ever happen to anyone else?

These are the questions that we ask ourselves, and ask others. When we produce questions like this we allow ourselves to stay in victim mentality. Remember, we are never victims, but yet we’ve made victim consciousness our comfort zone. Today is a good day to trade in your victim consciousness for clear consciousness.

Why is this?

What we experience in life is one of three things:
-an experience of karma,
-an experience of a lesson to learn to better ourselves and others,
-or to develop a greater power within ourselves.

How do we know which of the three experiences we are undergoing at the time? Well, you just stop in your tracks, look at your life, the people and situations around you, and the choices you’ve made today and in the past, and then ask yourself which lesson you are learning on this day.

Today, turn your “why me?” into “why not me?” Take responsibility for yourself and the life you chose to live. You are just that strong!
