I Thought I Was Fat!
I recently wore a size 2, coming from a size 00. Oh, how I longed to be back there. So I worked out and worked out, killing myself and making myself sick, all because I thought I was fat! I accomplished my goal of getting back to my size 00, but it is the process that I went through that was shameful.
How often do you find yourself responding to society’s rules about how you should look? I’ve noticed that more and more society plays a huge role in self-esteem. Every commercial that’s made and every magazine you read is flooded with ads for- what I call- “self-esteem in a can”.
Don’t believe those ads.
Today, stop killing yourself. Stop trying to shrink that number that appears in the back of your jeans, because you are perfect just the way you are.
