The Archer of Miracles

27 November 2008 No Comments

We left the harsh month of judgment, and have now entered the marvelous month of miracles.  Most people define “miracle” as an outlandish and outstanding occurrence outside of nature; something unnatural and supernatural.   But, what exactly is a miracle?

Someone may go to work today and exclaim, “Wow, I just saw a really horrific car accident on the way to work.  The car was smashed so bad that it was curled up into a ball like aluminum foil.  The most miraculous thing is that the lady stepped right out of her car and dusted herself off like nothing happened!”    Someone else may exclaim, “Wow, it’s a miracle that I didn’t get into a car accident this morning!”   A miracle is all in which lens we choose to view life through.

Sagittarius is the 9th Sign of the Zodiac, and is a month full of abundance, well-being, hope, and new beginnings.  Most people brag to have good luck this time of the year.  But, in order to bring about good fortune in our lives, we must do an equal or even greater amount of sharing in the lives of others.

Sagittarian- the Archer, like a rainbow- signifies the seven brilliant colors that make up the spectrum of visible light of the rainbow.  Just like mercy sweetens judgment for the month of Scorpio, the rainbow for Sagittarius counterbalances judgment.   There is a wonderful meditation I like to do every day: I picture myself being bathe in the 7 colors of the rainbow, which brings about tremendous healing power in my life.  The best results I get is when I transfer that healing energy to someone else.

Because Sagittarius is a fire sign, we must be in touch with how quickly our tempers can boil.  I always use my inner fire to take risks and seek out new challenges.  This month is a good month to light your inner fire and go way out of your way to seek new opportunities, new challenges and take grand risks.   When we think of Sagittarians, we know them as fidgety and easily bored, so this is also an awesome month to “feel” the pressures to succeed, and to go for your dreams quickly before boredom has a chance to catch up and set in.

How do we do take charge of this month?   By testing ourselves with extreme challenges that we know will bring out nothing but the absolute best in us.

Traits to look out for this month is being overly complacent, smug and self-righteous.  Although we do feel that we are right most of the time, it’s never about being right.  It’s always about our own individual journey, and what corrections we individually came here to make.  Instead of becoming complacent in our smugness and own ideas this month, let’s try our best to offer encouragement and positive assistance to others.

Although Sagittarians seek pleasure at any cost and are not happy unless they are in receipt of instant gratification, it is important to keep the real goal in mind.  The real goal is sustenance. Instant gratification does not bring about lasting fulfillment.  We should be on the watch of our irresponsible traits and habits and lay to rest fidgety behavior, instability and uncertainty.  It’s now a great time to learn to regain focus. (check out our Regaining Focus article for help).

This month is a great month to bring about security in our lives by being rational and displaying intelligent behavior.  Let’s make it a point to listen to others, especially to others’ criticism of us.  Let go of judgments, grudges, animosities and proud behavior, and see every moment and person as opportunities to learn and progress.

To make the best of this month, travel to a place you’ve always dreamed of going.  Let your hair down and release those tiny sparks of adventure that have been waiting to burst out.  If you cannot get away, go to new local places to meet new people.  Sagittarians love open spaces, which makes it especially easy for them to shoot their miraculous arrows of rainbows!

Enjoy your Month of Miracles!
