Stuck in the Same-ole’

8 November 2008 No Comments

Most of the time we use our comfort zone as an excuse not to aspire.  We are way too cozy in our bubbles, and in our tiny little corners of the world.  Most of the times we deliberately shut our eyes to whatever is going on around us- all so that we won’t become involved.

Why do we complain about our circumstances staying the same if we won’t even try to do things differently?

We are so stuck in the same-ole’ same-ole’, day-to-day routines of life.  What ever changes about us?  And, if something does change, it changes so insignificantly slow that we totally forget what we were trying to fix about ourselves in the first place.  Or, we become so uninterested in the result of the change that the change really happened for no good reason.

Today, turn in the same-ole’ you in exchange for a new you.  Shake things up- not a little, but a lot.  Get things moving around.  Step out of your usual comfort into something exciting, daring, sexy and risk-taking.  Try not to be stuck in the same-ole’ today.
