So, you wanna change the world?

22 November 2008 No Comments

“World Peace” is the most common goal among beauty pageant competitors.  Most people want to change the world.  What a mighty commendable goal!

But, world transformation first has to begin through the transformation of our inner selves.  If we do not change, then how can we expect to change the world?  How can we expect the world to be better when we ourselves are not better?

All that we witness in the world [famine, abuse, homelessness, war, evil] is all buried deep within us.  The world is but a mirror reflection of who we are.

I know, this is a tough pill to swallow.  When we wake up and learn to be honest with ourselves [i.e. look in the mirror], then we will be able to begin our true journey of changing the world.

Today, search yourself.  Really dig deep to pull up all of those traits within you that need transforming.  Once you transform your heart then you can transform the world. Always remember that the world cannot change unless you change.
