Half and Half

13 November 2008 No Comments

We all compromise at times.  Some of us, more times than others.

We often fall into the trap of compromising ourselves when we fall in love.  We even allow ourselves to be mistreated by our other half and his group, because we are blindly in love.

He then begins to take advantage of what he has, never fully appreciating you- his beautiful miracle.  You see, he never compromised.

He played you, gaining recognition and admiration from his peers and followers, totally disregarding your feelings.  You thought that in the end you lost.

You didn’t.

In the end, he lost.

He lost you.

Today, love yourself a little bit more for all the compromises you made.   For, you gained all that he is missing.
