Black Friday

28 November 2008 No Comments

This morning I went shopping at the mall for the “Early Bird Special” event.  Along the way to getting there traffic was backed up for miles and there were absolutely no spaces left in the parking lots.  Not only that, when I finally picked out the items I wanted it took over an hour to get through to the registers.

Imagine if everyone put it in their minds to make an early bird special for spirituality?

What if traffic all of a sudden becomes jammed from everyone driving to the ‘Mall of Grace’?  What if the items chosen no longer consisted of Jimmy Choo heels and Dior cosmetics, but were replaced with tools to rebuild your life and to sweeten judgments?

What if the lines at the checkout counters were packed with people hungry for knowledge of how to share with others and how to bring about lasting fulfillment and change?

Today, just as you’d buy something that you normally wouldn’t because it was a special sale,  try doing something spiritual today because it is no charge.
