Be Kind

1 November 2008 No Comments

“So many gods, So many creeds, So many paths that wind and wind, While just the art of being kind, is all this sad world needs.” –Ella Wheeler Wilcox

The hardest thing for most people to do is to let go of their pride and offer a smile. To put down arms and offer a helping hand. To drop their ego and admit when they are wrong. To share random acts of kindness.

It should not take religion and the fear of negative consequences to get you to do an act of kindness. You should want to feel like contributing positivity to the world “just because”.

The greatest gift in the world that you can give to anyone is a healthy you. And, the only way to help the world is to first start with helping yourself.

Today, be kind to yourself. Forgive yourself, as you will soon learn to forgive others. Do an act of kindness today. And, spread joy along to everyone you meet today.
