“The difference between a moral man and a man of honor is that the latter regrets a discreditable act, even when it has worked and he has not been caught.” –H. L. Mencken
Have you ever taken actions against someone without a second of a thought? And, have you ever thought back on your past and regret those very actions that you took?
Or, perhaps, regret past words that you may have blurted out- without first thinking…

As we all know, we are in the month of miracles. There are some that believe that miracles happen only during this time. I choose to believe that miracles happen all day every day.
If you really understood what miracles are and how they work then you’d know that every single occurrence in your life- from the very minuscule to the grandest gigantic- is a miracle.
Life in itself, well … it’s a miracle!
Today, drop all…

What is it today that you’d like more of? More romance? More money? More chocolates? More peace?
Whatever you desire today, tune into it. How? By turning up your dials!
Imagine that you have a switch within you- similar to a light switch- that is in accord with something that you want to work on. By picturing yourself flipping on the switch, you send out a signal to the universe that you are willing to make these…

This morning I went shopping at the mall for the “Early Bird Special” event. Along the way to getting there traffic was backed up for miles and there were absolutely no spaces left in the parking lots. Not only that, when I finally picked out the items I wanted it took over an hour to get through to the registers.

Thanksgiving is the appointed time
for focusing on the good in our lives.
In each of our days,
we can find small blessings,

Although this is the “official” day of thanks, don’t just take this day to feel gratitude. Thanksgiving is not just an expression of appreciation that comes once a…

“Reconsider a commitment. You have the right to change your mind.” –Cheryl Richardson
Right now is the holiday season and stress is on major high. There are so many more things to do, and so many more people to see, and so many more obligations that have to be fulfilled. All of these commitments are driving you nuts!
While it is honorable to honor your commitments, it is also okay to reconsider them. It’s impossible to help…

It’s only two days til Thanksgiving and there is a lot to be grateful for. But, don’t wait til Thanksgiving day to express your gratitude. Being thankful should be an everyday, all-day, on-going celebration.
We don’t have to go and dig up crisis situations that we survived to be grateful for; we should be able to call up moments of gratitude that didn’t stem from traumatic events.
How about being grateful today for the small miracles in…

“That’s the risk you take if you change: that people you’ve been involved with won’t like the new you. But other people who do will come along.” — Lisa Alther
At some point in our lives we are going to want to change. Change who we are as a person, change our circumstances around us, change our occupations, change our friends, and even change our wardrobes. Life is about constant change.
But, the hardest part about changing…
