The other night I was talking to one of my girlfriends, as she was explaining to me how she’d sit up for hours waiting on this guy to call her back. She became very detailed describing all of the anxiety she went through in hopes that the phone would ring.

I had no response. In my brain I was thinking, “you’ve got to be kiddin’ me!” She continued to go on and on about how she really cared for him and that he was an awesome person.

She really really liked this guy, and this guy was obviously fond of her. But why sit up and wait?

Let me first say that I had no right to judge. And let me second say that it is up to her to wait. If you know that he is worthy and you feel that it is best to wait, then I guess do what your heart tells you.  No one can make that decision for you.

I feel that you must put value in yourself and not into anyone else.  I personally would not wait on him.  But, if you feel it necessary, then go for it.

Or, find something else to do.
