Stop Looking Back

1 October 2008 No Comments

The best way to get past your past is to stop looking back. Always remember that thoughts of yesterday no longer serve you, and the best way to dismiss them is to love yourself.

Whenever doubt, depression and regret start to creep in, run straight to a mirror, and to yourself practice saying this simple- yet powerful- mantra:  “I love myself today! Yesterday has no dominion over me. Today is a brand new and miraculous day!”

Recite this with belief, dignity, hope, meaning, pride, self-assurance and self-love. When you practice this mantra today, the negative thinking will begin to falter.

Stop looking back by believing in yourself enough to know that anything is possible. And that you have the capability to get past your past. You have that ability, so use it!  Try as hard as you can to overcome those thoughts that weigh you down.

Today, stop looking back.  For good.

P.S. Don’t forget to add a smile to your mantra today!
