The Business of Living

10 September 2008 No Comments

Most of us define ourselves by our wounds. As a matter of fact, we wear them on our sleeves. We showcase them, marketing them to the whole world- or just to anyone that will listen. And, if we run across a person that doesn’t tread lightly around us, we feel that they are insensitive, incompassionate, uncaring and unsupportive.

Today we should tell ourselves that we have had enough support and need get on with the business of living. We should tell ourselves that it’s time to get up. When we fall down, we need to get right back up and get on with life! We need to stop whining and learn to deal with what’s in front of us right now.
We know we are in the business of living when we’ve stopped allowing our past traumas and dramas to control our lives, the lives of others and the situations around us.

Today, get on with the business of living.
